Our story
Tony Cook
A.S.A.P First Aid Training was founded by Tony with one simple mission: to make first aid training more accessible, personal and convenient for everyone.
Having delivered hundreds of nationally recognised first aid courses during his time as a First Aid Trainer with Surf Life Saving NSW, Tony saw first-hand that traditional classroom training doesn't suit everyone. Large workshops, unfamiliar faces and rigid schedules can make learning stressful - especially for people who experience anxiety, have differing ability needs or simply prefer a more personalised approach.
That's why Tony created a truly mobile first aid service. Whether it's in your home, workplace, lunchroom or community group, he brings professional, accredited training to you—at a time that fits around work, family and life.
Outside of first aid, Tony is an avid scuba diver, experienced "kid wrangler," and someone who genuinely enjoys helping people feel comfortable and confident. His relaxed, friendly teaching style takes the pressure out of learning, making every course engaging, practical and easy to understand.
For Tony, first aid isn't just about gaining a certificate, it's about giving people the confidence to step forward when it matters most. Because learning life-saving skills should be simple, supportive and designed around you.
